China has recently launched the train, which can travel at a speed of 600 kilometers per hour. Moglev climbed into the records as the fastest train to travel on earth. Its designers say the train could reach Beijing from Shanghai in just two and a half hours if it became fully operational. The distance between the two towns is about a thousand kilometers.

This train can no longer run on the same track as normal trains. A special track has to be built for these. In addition, these trains float in a few gallons rather than adjacent to the track. It floats in the gall with the strongest electromagnetic force. China is already using lightweight trains designed with Maglev technology. Currently these trains run only in certain areas. Plans are afoot to run these across China in the coming days. Many countries are showing interest in these trains. It is reported that Japan and Germany in particular have already held talks with China. Maintaining these trains at speeds of over 600 km per hour is not an easy task. Huge amounts of funding are required. It is for this reason that some countries seem to be lagging behind in their interest in this technology.
